METRO/PARKING FREE SHUTTLE BUS:

METRO: The picnic is accessible from the Smithsonian Metro (orange & blue lines). A shuttle bus will run continuously from the Smithsonian Metro (Exit station using 12TH ST SW & INDEPENDENCE AVE SW exit) to West Potomac Park between the hours of 10:45 am and 4:45 pm.

PARKING: Parking is extremely scarce. We encourage you to use the metro. There are public, non-reserved parking lots located under the 14th Street bridges. A shuttle bus will run continuously from these parking lots to West Potomac Park between the hours of 10:45 am and 4:45 pm.
Picnic-goers will be picked up in front of Parking Lot C.
